BurningLance 7 years ago #10. well if you go Quality then Refined is the best. since you plan to go Str for a while then Heavy is good. im doing a Dex/Luck and atm with 29 in both and Hollow infusion gives more dmg than the Sharp infusion (even if Sharp bumps dex scaling to B) which is very good for Estocs.My guy uses an enchanted estoc +4, I don't think there's any other weapon that's exactly quite like it. I'm 2 bells in, doing hollow / ash lake before sen's and so far so good. Okay. Was just curious because I like using the Estoc and sitting behind a shield and poking at enemies.

It depends on ehat kind of weapons you like + build. But in general you want low weight and low requirements. Claymore, Zwie, Estoc, and Garg Halberd are all good. Lothric Knight sword is very good. Estoc isn't as good as it used to be bit it's still decent. Pontiff curved sword is really good and doesn't need infusion. It's an absolutely top tier weapon on a quality build. If you know how to keep on your opponent while rollcatching and punish literally everything they do, then yes.
